Covid-19 Information

The health and safety of our patients and staff is our first priority as we move forward. As regulated healthcare providers, we will continue to abide by the specific guidelines from our professional regulatory bodies, the BC health minister and B.C. Centre of disease control (BCCDC).

These guidelines include the following:
*Please note, these guidelines are evolving and subject to change.

Screening
We kindly ask all patients to refrain from entering the clinic if experiencing respiratory or flu-like symptoms. We will waive any last-minute cancellations if you are unable to enter due to possible symptoms, or exposure to the coronavirus.

Hand Hygiene
Patients are asked to arrive with clean clothes. Please use the hand sanitizer provided at reception upon entering and exiting the clinic.

Physical Distancing
Please wait in your vehicle until just a few minutes before your scheduled appointment, unless you are asked to come earlier to fill out forms. The waiting room seating is limited and physical distancing measures are in place in the reception area. Before exiting a treatment room, we ask that you look out into the hallway, and wait until the hallway is clear before exiting the room. Please arrive for your appointment alone, unless you are a caregiver or accompanying a minor.

Enhanced cleaning/disinfecting
Treatment times have been adjusted to allow practitioners extra time to clean surfaces using disinfectants. Plexiglass shields have been placed in the reception area, and surfaces will be disinfected regularly. We encourage you to use the ‘tap’ function on the POS machine when possible.

Effective use of PPE’s
We encourage patients to BYOM (bring your own face mask). Although mask use is not mandatory (according to the BCCDC), you can expect to see practitioners wearing face masks, and requiring patients to do the same. It is up to each individual patient and practitioner to assess and decide about the use of PPE’s.

The clinic is open Monday – Thursday, and bookings may be made by calling Glenmore Chiropractic at 250 763-3580.
We are committed to helping you optimize your health and performance through this very interesting time!
